Time to Departure - 9 days

I'd be lying if I didn't say that it's not quite real to me yet. I keep saying to people "I'm moving to Thailand next week." And then they say one of a few things that are all really the same, like, "Wow," or "That's so exciting," or "Cool," or "What?" Because, let's face it, a lot of the people I'm telling don't speak English so well, and they say "What?" more out of habit than anything else.

But I know what everyone means. They all mean something like, "Why are you doing that?" with a little bit of "Better you than me" thrown in. Because to talk about moving to Thailand is exciting, to actually do it is something else entirely. Still, in the moments when I believe it's happening, I'm excited.
