Northern Vietnam

Today we finish our time in Northern Vietnam, and make our way by overnight bus down to Hue, the old capital of Vietnam. I don't have a lot of internet time, but we have absolutely loved our time here, and packed it to the gills with everything we have done.

I leave you with this picture of Ha Long Bay, which we visited a few days ago.

Viet Nam

Well we have left Thailand. We have finished teaching and decided to do a little bit of traveling before we head back to the states. Our first stop is Vietnam, from which I am writing this post. Jessica and I will be here for one month starting in Hanoi and finishing in Ho Chi Minh City. Afterwards we will go briefly to Cambodia and then spend three weeks traveling though Europe.

While we both loved Thailand we are glad to have the opportunity to see more of Asia before we go home. Especially a country which is involved in a very important piece of U.S. history.

The people here in Vietnam are quite friendly, though abrupt and the scienery is amazing. I'm sorry I don't have any pictures to put up at the moment but within the next four days we should have something. In less than an hour will we be climbing aboard a train for a nighttime journey to a montainous region called Sapa.
